Approach:
I believe you are your own best healer, and I am here to compassionately walk you through a journey of self-empowerment. It is okay to be uncertain of where to begin and how to navigate your difficulties. Not only are we human-beings, but we are also human-becoming. How: Together we will create a respectful, non-judgmental, and trusting relationship. My aim is to create a safe space that allows you to share authentically. Our conditioned patterns learned in childhood can disconnect us from the truest natural "self." Becoming aware of these practiced habits and beliefs modeled by our families, cultural surroundings, and society at large is a stepping stone. We will move forward by grappling with suffering and examining the roots of problematic emotional reactions and intense impulses. Frustrations with primary sadness or secondary anger can permeate one's self-concept. Our work together is designed to help clear the way for your inner guidance system to operate with integrity to your most important core values.. Person centered therapy (PCT), attachment theory, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are empirically proven approaches that will help us bring your blockages into focus and expand the space for you to live in attuned connection with the innermost you of you. |
